Well it's that time again: FINALS. We're entering the last few weeks of the semester, and I've got a but load of due dates coming up. I plan to up load some of the Posters I'll be doing, and maybe one of my final designs for production class...maybe some other things too, who knows!

Alot of things happened over the last week or so the highlights being:
~ My grandmother died after an eight and a half year battle with cancer and various other ailments.

~ My grandfather's new website just launched.

On the latter: My grandfather, John Bently Mays, is a writer both independantly(having written some prolific books, such as "In the Jaws of the Black Dogs") and for various papers, periodicals and magazines. He's a well respected art and architecture critique, so I like to keep up with the things he writes, as it's a good way to keep informed on what's going on out there.

Recently, he'd been working on a web site to archive his articles, store and display his many and varied ideas and thoughts, and write about various things he's seen and been to.

You can imagine how happy I was when the site was finally launched! It's a great and easily accessible way to get access to his writing, and I encourage and recommend anyone who's interested in it to stop by and take a look. You might even find some inspiration for yourself there.

Aside from that, I've been busily preparing for the birthdays that happen this month and rushing around to get work done.
